The FAW have received confirmation this evening that the NSG have determined that at this moment in time, the ‘Elite Status’ designation will not be reinstated for the Cymru North league. As noted earlier this week, the NSG consulted Public Health Wales (PHW) regarding this decision.
As previously confirmed, the FAW National League Board had agreed that this would be the final opportunity for the JD Cymru North & South to return to league action. Therefore, this evening’s decision confirms that the 2020/21 season at Tier 2 level will be cancelled
