Re: Temporary COVD-19 amendment to FAW Rule 60

Please be advised that FIFA has amended Article 5, Paragraph 4 of the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (FIFA RSTP) on a temporary basis for the 2020-21 Playing Season only due to the global COVID-19 Pandemic.

The amendment will allow a player to register for and participate in Official Matches for three (3) clubs during the 2020-21 Playing Season only.

As a reminder, please note that any registration and participation for a club under the jurisdiction of a different National Association will count towards a player’s quota of clubs.

The appropriate temporary amendment to FAW Rule 60 to facilitate the above has been approved by Members at the recent Special General Meeting for consideration of the FAW Rules and for the avoidance of doubt will apply for the 2020-21 Playing Season only.

Please note that the above FIFA amendment will not apply to FAW Rule 63 and its subsections.
