Manager appointed
Brymbo Football Club have announce that former Cymru Premier Legend, Ricky Evans is their new Manager.
Ricky has a wealth of experience as a player, having competed at the top level of Welsh football for over 10 years with the likes of Bangor City, TNS, Connahs Quay Nomads and Rhyl as well a 3 year stint in England with Oldham Athletic.
Following his retirement from playing full time, his first role as a manager at Lex XI brought him a league title and a number of high profile scalps.
In his first interview with the club, Ricky said, "I can't wait to get back out there and work with the lads. Brymbo have been a top side for the last few years and have made really good progress on and off the pitch."
He added, "It's going to be a good challenge for us going in to the new Ardal League and playing some really good sides. We're looking forward to building a competitive squad and we're already looking to bring in some of the best players around. I would just like to say thank you [to Max and Chris Parry] for giving me this chance, I just cant wait to get going"
Ricky has added the experienced Lee Phelan as his Assistant Manager, as well as physio and fitness coach, Natalie Brown.
