FAW WEBSITE PREVIEW

"Rockspur FC of the David W Harris Swansea Senior League Division 1 are enjoying an excellent season and now take on Mold Alexandra at Latham Park for a place in the final. The Swansea-based side booked their place in the last four with an impressive 3-0 win over Cefn Albion through goals from Sam Keefe, Aaron Lewis and Richie Jeremiah. Convincing victories over Brynawel and Waunarlwydd Galaxy in the early rounds set the tone for their FAW Amateur Trophy campaign, and further wins over Seven Sisters Onllwyn, Porth and Goytre AFC followed before 2019 winners Cefn Albion were defeated at Pryderi Park.

Mold Alexandra are an established name in the Welsh domestic game and were founder members of the League of Wales back in 1992. The side are currently enjoying an excellent season in the Lock Stock Ardal Northwest and will be targeting success in the FAW Amateur Trophy as they look to continue their rise through the pyramid system having recently dropped down to the Welsh National League. The side claimed comfortable victories over Penyffordd Lions, Greenfield and Queens Park in the earlier rounds before registering a 2-1 win over Llangollen Town. Penalties were then required to see off Llandudno Albion while Joe Ormrod scored the decisive goal against Pontyclun in the quarter-finals."
