All ARDAL NORTHERN clubs have applied for the FAW Tier 3 Licence Application
Although clubs successfully met the Tier 3 standard in June 2020, as a Licence is granted for one season only, all existing Tier 3 clubs will still need to meet the criteria by 30th April each year in order to maintain its Licence for the following season.
The following additional 3 criteria, which has previously been communicated to clubs:
- 01 Ground Safety Risk Assessment & Evacuation Plan. This is a self-assessment and the minimum we ask clubs to cover can be found in Appendix III (page 27) of the Tier 3 Licensing Regulations (attached).
- 01 (b) Security of Tenure. Clubs must evidence that they have a Tier 3 Compliant Ground available to them for the duration of the 2021 / 22 season. Therefore, clubs will need to submit a written document (e.g. copy of lease) as part of their application. Should clubs wish to submit a groundshare application, this must be submitted by 1st March 2021.
- 20 First Aid Officer. Clubs must appoint a First Aid Officer who is to be present at every first team fixture. This individual must hold as a minimum, one of the following 3 qualifications: a) Valid FASE 1 b) Valid FAW First Aid Award c) Any equivalent award, as approved by the FAW Medical Officer. Should this individual need to undertake an FAW course, this can be done via the following link: https://www.fawcourses.com/category/firstaid Once this person has been appointed, they must be entered onto the Comet system as First Aid Officer and a copy of the relevant qualification(s) uploaded to their profile.
Tier Four clubs seeking promotion to Tier three also need to obtain the licence
