Lock Stock Ardal Northwest side Denbigh Town will host international matches this month
Cymru are set to welcome some if the best youth sides in the world to North Wales by hosting two UEFA Development Tournaments in April for the U16 boys and girls teams.
The Cymru U16 boys team will start their tournament on Saturday 9 April at Denbigh Town against Brazil (KO 18:00). Brazil will be participating in the competition as part of a Memorandum of Understanding between UEFA and CONMEBOL to support football development across both organisations. Cymru will also face Turkey (Colliers Park, 12:30 Monday 11 April) and Spain (Denbigh Town, 18:00 Thursday 14 April).
A week later, the Cymru U16 girls team will be welcoming three European nations to participate in their tournament. The opening match against Finland will take place at the Airfield in Broughton on Sunday 17 April, followed by a match at Park Hall, Oswestry on Tuesday 19 April. The tournament will then conclude with Cymru facing Denmark on Friday 22 April.
Fans are welcome to attend the matches (excluding fixtures at Colliers Park) with £3 entry at the gate.
